I've created these graphics from direct observation and reconstruction of religious art using a variety of graphical applications and a lot of time. Some are made available with permission of the Aid Association for Lutherans/Lutheran Brotherhood. If you want any of them in their original ".PNG" format, request it by email and I will try to send it as soon as I can.
Luthers Coat of Arms

This symbol was used by Luther as his Coat of Arms. It uses a cross on a heart, at the center of a Messianic Rose. It is surrounded by a circle to symbolize eternity. "The Christian's heart is resting on roses E'en while beneath the cross it reposes."

This is the symbol for Pentecost. There are seven burning lamps on this symbol to remind us of the fiery tongues of flame on the heads of the Apostles at Pentacost. The symbol is backed with the shield of our faith. The Dove of the Holy Spirit descends from the top of the shield and shines on the symbol of Christ. It also provides the light to the seven lamps.

Symbol for the Holy Blessed Trinity This is the symbol for the Holy Blessed Trinity. It symbolizes God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The colors are Gold and Green. The gold color indicates preciousness and the green color indicates ever-living or eternal.

This emblem is the symbol of Saint John the Apostle, because an attempt was made upon his life with the use of poison placed in the communion cup.

It shows a serpent rising out of a chalice, because it was a way to make you think of poison in the wine. Other emblems for Saint John are an eagle over a cauldron, the scroll of the Gospel or Revelation, a serpent and a sword. The colors usually show the shield in blue, the chalice in silver and the serpent in red. Saint John's day is December 27.

This emblem is the symbol of Saint Philip. The cross and two loaves were assigned to him because of the answer he gave to the Lord in Saint John Chapter 6:7. Other emblems for Saint Philip include a basket filled with bread or a spear with a patriarcal cross. Also a cross and a carpenter's square are sometimes used.

The colors used are generally red for the shield and gold for the cross and the two loaves. Saint Phillip's day is May 1.
