I've created these graphics from direct observation and reconstruction of religious art using a variety of graphical applications and a lot of time. Some are made available with permission of the Aid Association for Lutherans/Lutheran Brotherhood. If you want any of them in their original ".PNG" format, request it by email and I will try to send it as soon as I can.
The Symbol for the name of Christ

This is the symbol for the name of Christ. Chi and Rho are 2 letters from the Greek alphabet. They are the first 2 letters of the word "Christ" in Greek, and are used to form a proper abbreviation of the name Christ.

The Symbol for the Blessed Sacraments

This is the symbol of the Blessed Sacraments. It is sometimes used as the symbol for Holy Communion and the Eucharist. The cross stands upon the rock of faith. The living water flows from it and symbolizes the blessings and gifts from God that flow into the believer's life, through the Word and Sacrament.
